Message from volunteer organiser Sally Pavey
“An exciting and inspiring event that presents the up-and-coming trends and showcases the very best of each sector. The new venue is fresh, premium and contemporary as well as traditional in its vintage avenues – without mothballs.”
How to apply for a stall
Applications have to be in by the end of March 2017; applications after this time may not be considered. Our dedicated team will cherry pick the best to ensure a good cross-section of products are on show to visitors; making sure there is something for all to entice the purse strings.
All stalls offered a stand will be notified and a full list will be on the Pink Gift Fair Facebook page.
- Stalls cost £95.00 each (approx 6’ x 2’3”) space with one chair
- Tables cost £8.00 each (approx. 6’ long and 2’3” long trestle table)
Walls may be available but they are not guaranteed. Stallholders must request a wall at time of applying. Stalls are asked to provide 10% of takings during the fair and supply one raffle prize at the start of the fair.
Venue for 2017:
West Sussex County Council and Horsham District Council offices
Build up of fair
This will take place Friday from 4pm as well as before 9.30am on Saturday
The council offices parking behind the venue can be used by stallholders during the build up and open days of the fair free of charge.
Break down of the fair is Sunday after 4pm, any stall breaking down prior to this without the organisers permission will result in a health and safety issue and thus will close the whole event and shoppers will have to be removed from the premises. There will be no refund for any stallholders should this occur.
All stalls holders must have public liability insurance, as well as electrical and health and hygiene certificates if appropriate.
The organisers have the right to refuse a stall holders application without giving a reason and will not tolerate any abusive behavior towards other stalls or volunteers. Should the organiser deem the products displayed to be offensive, the organisers have the right to ask that they be removed or the stallholder will be asked to leave the event without any refund.
Any disputes or refund requests must be put in writing to the organisers and any stalls cancelled without one month of the date of the fair will not be refunded for any reason. Should a stall be cancelled three months from the date of the fair, half refund will be offered if an alternative stall can be found. Over and above three months, a stallholder will receive a full refund on the cancellation of a stall place.
